It would also generate significant funds to be invested in local projects throughout the Scottish Borders.

The proposed project is a culmination of over two years of environmental studies and was submitted for consent to the Scottish Government in June 2023.

Dunside wind farm aims to be recognised as a force for good ~ generating renewable energy; empowering local communities and supporting Scotland’s net zero carbon targets.

Full details about the project is available from www.dunsidewindfarm.co.uk.

EDF power solutions UK has submitted a Supplementary Environmental Information Report (SEI Report) for its proposed Dunside wind farm. This was submitted in August 2024 and is an addition to the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) which was submitted in July 2023. View all the documents relating to these submissions.
